Knowing oneself
In my work I hear much about what a challenge it is to be authentic at work and with people around us. Being oursleves is not the issue. It is to know who we really are. Once we feel we have tapped into that which is authentic in us and are comfortable with that knowing, revealing it to world no longer feels threatening, we don’t mind the opinion of others, we are comfortable and grounded in our own knowing.
Much of my work with people is helping them uncover who they already are but can’t see due to outdated habits of thought and action which no longer serve their larger, brilliant and all powerful self. Most of us have gotten used to living only in one or two rooms of this incredible mansion. To be authentic, aligned, alive, we must get acquainted with the whole mansion leading us to uncover our full potentiality.
I invite you to get acquainted with another room in your mansion today. One way to go about this is to ask yourself what has caught your attention lately, a movie, something said in a conversation, a scene you witnessed? Then ask yourself what in you connected to this? Keep asking yourself questions. Do so with an open mind, an open heart, willingness to listen to your own knowing. Its a fun self-exploration.
I am listening …
