Life elevated

December 2nd, 2009

Utah’s license plate slogan caught my attention:  “Life Elevated”.

Seeing it made me reflect on what life elevated means in my life:  focusing on loving and positive thoughts, living in a clear, uncluttered space, having authentic friendships; working peacefully, efficiently and doing what I love, eating wholesome foods most of the time, meditating regularly, practicing yoga, keeping in touch with my family, participating in uplifting entertainment, saying no to what does not feel good, opening up to creativity, challenging myself to take the next step, exploring things I am drawn to,  keeping my space clear of struggle energy, knowing that what I am living is exactly what I am meant to live and doing it willingly, taking time to play …

What does living life elevated mean to you?

Miracles happen!

December 1st, 2009

One year I decided to pay attention.  I bought a diary and committed to record daily the miracles I saw in my life. At the beginning I had to really look, not that miracles were not happening, but I was not used to focusing my mind in that direction.

I started noticing — parking spots opening up just as I would drive into busy areas,  a stranger in the supermarket giving me a flower unexpectedly, getting a call from a friend whom I was thinking about, receiving a raise mid-year just as I needed to pay unexpected medical bills, etc, etc.  The more I paid attention, the more I saw.  By the end of the year I did not have enough space in my diary to record all the miracles that filled my days. My heart was overflowing with a sense of abundance and hope. I had been changed!

May your life be filled with hope, abundance, and joy!

How do you participate with the miracles in your life?
